Balls for Schools

Helping more young people across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset enjoy the beautiful game.

Football Lodge South West is a new Masonic Lodge with a shared love of football, friendship and community. Through our Balls for Schools initiative, we are raising funds to provide footballs to local schools where sports and games equipment can be difficult to replace.

We know that school budgets are under real pressure. Essential costs must come first, which can leave less room for the everyday equipment that helps children to play, take part and be active together.

How the initiative will work

We are starting from a zero budget and are fundraising now. Registering interest allows us to understand where support would be most useful, plan future allocations and keep schools informed as the project develops.

Where possible, we hope to bring nearby schools together at local presentation events, celebrating the support behind the initiative and getting footballs into the hands of young people.

What schools need to know

We review each request individually. Awards are normally limited to up to five footballs per school and depend on available stock.
