The Lodge Tie: A Founding Memento
A members’ tie created to carry the Lodge emblem and remember the founding of No. 10063.
Among the items prepared for the Consecration of Football Lodge South West was a members’ tie created especially for the new Lodge.
A shared identity
The approved founding programme describes the Lodge emblem woven into silk to form a subtle repeating pattern. It was intended to be worn at Lodge meetings and to give members a shared symbol of the identity they were creating together.
A memento of the inaugural gathering
The tie was also presented as a memento of the inaugural gathering: something practical that could continue to recall the bonds formed as Football Lodge South West began.
Football in the details
Alongside the football-boot gavels and the founding squad team sheet, the tie shows how the Lodge’s visual identity was carried through even the smallest details of the Consecration.
Historical context: This page records the tie as a founding object. Its present material, availability and rules of use have not been independently checked.
